CHICAGO (CHICAGO URBAN DAILY)— Thursday night in Chicago is a big one — an arena pop takeover, a rap night on the North Side, and a funk party in Lake View. Here is where the city is headed after work.

The biggest room belongs to KATSEYE. The Grammy-nominated girl group brings The Wildworld Tour — its first arena tour — to the United Center at 8 p.m. All eyes are on this one: the group postponed its Detroit show Tuesday after member Megan Skiendiel fell ill, and as of Wednesday the Chicago date was still on. Fans should check official channels before heading out.

Up in Uptown, Trippie Redd brings The Non-disclosure Agreement Tour to the Aragon Ballroom at 7 p.m. — a 17-and-over show with K Suave, BalloutDaDon, Gigi Holland, and Goldie on the bill.

Over in Lake View, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong takes over the Vic Theatre at 7 p.m. with Dizgo opening — a high-energy funk-jam night. Rapper Pouya brings the Foreverglades Tour to the Riviera Theatre, and comedian Joey Diaz takes the Chicago Theatre with his 62 & Still Slinging Tour.

For something quieter, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performs Beethoven’s Fifth with pianist Mao Fujita. And improv fans can celebrate iO Theater’s 45th anniversary, with special programming running through Saturday.

The First Nations Film and Video Festival continues through November 10 — and admission is free.

Pick your room. Chicago has one for every mood tonight.
