CHICAGO (CHICAGO URBAN DAILY)— The ballots are counted, and the stages are calling. Wednesday night in Chicago is stacked — from an arena show to a vintage-pop party to a musical parody.
The big room belongs to SOMBR, bringing the You Are The Reason Tour to the United Center at 7 p.m. Over in Lake View, Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox takes over the Vic Theatre at 7:30 p.m. with its signature vintage spin on modern hits.
If you want laughs with your music, the Apollo Theater hosts Vape! The Grease Parody at 7:30 p.m. — a send-up of the Rydell High classic. And for an afternoon outing, Kokandy Productions stages Jekyll & Hyde at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place at 1 p.m.
The First Nations Film and Video Festival continues through November 10, and admission is free — a full week of Indigenous film and video on Chicago screens.
Vote-counting may be over, but Chicago’s Wednesday night is just getting started.
