Last Call to Vote Early: Chicago’s Final Early-Voting Day Is Monday

CHICAGO URBAN DAILY

CHICAGO (CHICAGO URBAN DAILY)— The clock is running out on early voting. If you have not cast your ballot yet, Monday is your last early chance — Election Day is Tuesday.

Early voting is open today, Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at sites in all 50 wards. On Monday, the final day of early voting, ward sites run 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the two downtown locations — the Voting Supersite at 137 S. State St. and the Board of Elections office at 69 W. Washington St., 6th floor — stay open until 7 p.m.

You can vote at any early-voting site in the city, no matter which ward you live in. Not registered yet? Same-day registration is available at every early-voting site and at your polling place on Election Day — bring two forms of ID, at least one with your current address.

On Tuesday, November 3, polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Voters in line by 7 p.m. can still vote. Mail ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday or returned by the close of polls.

Tuesday’s ballot decides the governor’s race, an open U.S. Senate seat, Cook County offices, and Chicago Board of Education seats — plus the three nonbinding citywide advisory questions Chicago Urban Daily covered Saturday.

Do not wait for Tuesday’s lines. Monday is the last early day.
