Fall Fest Fever: Chicago’s Weekend Is Stacked From Pilsen to the Riverwalk

CHICAGO URBAN DAILY

CHICAGO (CHICAGO URBAN DAILY)— Chicago isn’t easing into October — it’s throwing a full-blown party all weekend long.

Saturday is stacked. The Chicago Vintage Fest Pilsen Fall Fest takes over October 3-4 with free admission, while the Taste of Northalsted Fall runs in two sessions (12-3pm and 3-6pm). Beer lovers can hit the Berwyn Brewfest from 1-5pm, and the bold can close the night at the Pilsen Malört Fest from 6pm to 12:30am. Over at the Harris Theater, TEDxChicago: We The People brings big ideas starting at 10am.

Sunday belongs to the shoppers: Maxwell Street Market runs its final market of 2026 from 10am to 3pm with free admission — catch it before it’s gone for the year.

And the fall fun stretches beyond the weekend. Boo! at the Zoo kicks off at Brookfield Zoo running through October 25, and Lincoln Park Zoo’s Fall Fest — free admission included — runs through November 1.

Get out and enjoy your city, Chicago.
